Bachpan - Kal and Now

Shyaam k 5 baje ghanti bajate hue koi bhudiya ke baal nahi lata,
Ab shayad hygienic pizza aur burger zyada paushtik hote hai,

Keechad mai sane, gale mai haath dale vo 2 yaar nazar nahi aate,
Ab shayad keechad ki cheentain phekne walo k naam 'idoit' ho gaye hai,

Bachpan ki naadaan aur rangeen duniya mai koi nahi khota,
Ab shayad khota hai yeh bachpan mobile aur internet ki smart duniya mai.

Delay Your Reaction

Our general tendency is to throw a reaction to any given situation, thought or expression. Often this reaction is instantaneous with little thinking behind it. Many times these thoughtless reactions lead to regrets. We can avoid leading ourselves into these unwanted situation by adopting a practice of Observe, Assess and React rather than straight away reacting without understanding the situation. This practice helps in thoroughly understanding the present and its cause. Once the cause is known it is more easier to accept the situation, circumstance or a thought in its true form. Acceptance doesn't mean submission here, it means accepting the moment as it is, without judging or tagging it with our perceptions. Once situation(present) is accepted in its original form then it is easier to act upon it wisely.

This, too, Shall Pass Away!

This too, Shall pass Away!

Often we get stuck with the moments, thinking that they are here to stay. But the law of the nature says that "nothing is permanent", be it sorrow, pain, wealth, even life itself. Phases of life are like stream of water, they keep moving with the current.  Just like river, this journey called life also flows through rocky terrains, smooths plains, take steep turns but goes on.

When one is against the wall he/she should remind that time will change & will change for good. But when you are in the rosy phase of life this phrase becomes more important as it reminds you that life doesn't always run on smooth paths & you are abound to face the rough times. This is neither a pessimistic thought nor something to be afraid of, accepting what nature has on offer prepares a person to welcome the good times with moderate ecstasy and tough time with strong character.

There are numerous stories where these five magic words helped Great men to weather the storms in their life. Most famous being Abraham Lincoln, the times when Lincoln faced the fury of the nation for standing by his principles, he reminded himself that this too would pass with time and with God's help he could come through this.

These are comforting words to remember in times of trouble, in times of hardship. When nothing is going correctly, its comforting to know that no pain, no grief can last forever, no matter how much trouble you are in this, too, shall pass away.

Poem adapted from the Original version by Paul Hamilton Hayne
When you are in misery,  Then do pray
And be assured, This grief shall pass away.
When you are ecstatic, be not too carefree;
enjoy the moment, this, too, shall pass away.
when you are in danger, purse your cause;
And cling to hope, this, too, shall pass away.
when you are tempted; for the materials that lay;
One truth to yourself, this, too, shall pass away.
Do the days of glory and grief always stay?
Like the seasons of the year, This, too, shall pass away!
Wherever you are, whenever the footsteps stray,
Remember the wise words: This too shall pass away!

Relativity - Einstein Never Meant This

Life is a beautiful journey to cherish, cherish what nature has given you, be grateful of your possessions. Often this journey is stained by the comparisons of your possessions. No matter what you have, how much you have, it'll be less relative to few & more relative to others. What are the possessions which are subjected to comparisons ? Wealth, home, gold/silver, clothes ? Ain't these things of least importance considering your overall existence in this universe ? Every human is born unique to others, having your needs in relation to other possessions is Wrong Life. No man in this world is given less than his allocated quota by Nature. A fact rarely realized but if it sinks in would make this journey blissful.

From Bloggers's Pen

Kya Tera hai Kya mera hai,
Yeh jag do din ka dera hai

Na kuch tu le k aaya tha
Na kuch tu le k jayega,
Kyu ulajhta hai tu jag mai
Sab kuch Yahi reh jayega

Kyu subak subak k rota hai
Jo Likha hai bas vahi payega,
Na kar tu shikhva khoneka
Teri kashti vo paar lagyega

Kyu kadam kadam pe darta hai
Ek din to tu yaha se jayega,
Patte sa mitti mai milke
Fir tu ped ka hissa ban jayega

Na Tera hai Na mera hai
Yeh jag sirf uska basera hai!

Oh! Day

Oh! 'Day' you are fresh and vibrant again!

With opportunities, challenges,

but love and happiness to gain!

I conquered you yesterday,

But you are still the same!

Back with energy, love and a pinch of pain!

Oh! 'Day' I'll definitely conquer you again!

Unchi Imaarat Mai ?

Kaun rehta hai in unchi Imaraton mai,
Jo har roz puchta hai aaj khane ko kya hai,
lekin bhool jata hai ki koi puchta  hai,
aaj kuch khane ko hai kya ?

Kaun rehta hai in unchi Imaraton mai,
Jo har roz skoon se subha k intazaar mai sota hai,
par bhool jata hai ki subha hogi ki nahi,
koi is swaal mai bhi sota hai.

Kaun rehta hai in unchi Imaraton mai,
Jo khoobsurat libaas mai duniya  ki ek nazar churane sadak pe nikal jata hai,
Par usi sadak pe bina libaas ka insaan uski nazar se chori ho jata hai

Kaun rehta hai in unchi Imaraton mai,
Kehta to khud ko insaan hai,
par na Jaane Kaun rehta hai in unchi Imaraton mai ??

Lack Of Contentment

Vo kagaz ki kashti vo barish ka pani ,
Har baarish na jaane kitne copy k panne fhadwati thi,
Barish k pani se bhare ghaddho me apni naav ko utaarne ki hodh lag jati thi,
Bas kuch door jo chal leti thi vo naav, maano mann ko kinara mil jata tha.
Par aaj jis khashti pe swaar hai vo roz kinara pakadti hai,
Na jaane hum kis kinaare ki talaash mai beech samandar laut aate hai.
