Our general tendency is to throw a reaction to any given situation, thought or expression. Often this reaction is instantaneous with little thinking behind it. Many times these thoughtless reactions lead to regrets. We can avoid leading ourselves into these unwanted situation by adopting a practice of Observe, Assess and React rather than straight away reacting without understanding the situation. This practice helps in thoroughly understanding the present and its cause. Once the cause is known it is more easier to accept the situation, circumstance or a thought in its true form. Acceptance doesn't mean submission here, it means accepting the moment as it is, without judging or tagging it with our perceptions. Once situation(present) is accepted in its original form then it is easier to act upon it wisely.
